Park City Mountain Resort is one of the most popular and respected ski resorts in the nation. It was home to the US Winter Olympics in 2002 and regularly trains the US Ski Team on slalom and giant slalom runs. In addition to 108 trails, there are four terrain parks and an Olympic sized half-pipe for snowboarders. The mountain has an average annual snowfall of 360 inches, ensuring local ski bums and vacationers the most optimal conditions.

Deer Valley Resort is a combination of Little Baldy Peak, Bald Eagle Mountain, Bald Mountain, Flagstaff Mountain, Empire and Lady Morgan. For those of you keeping count, that’s six peaks, each containing some of the best ski trails in the country. The resort is open exclusively to skiers, and asks that snowboarders take their skills elsewhere. Other attractions at Deer Valley include group ski races, snowmobile tours, show shoeing, dog sledding, sleigh rides, cross country skiing and hot air ballooning.

Alta Ski Area has trails for skiers of all ages and ability levels. The resort was recently ranked as the 4th best ski area in North America based on the variety of terrain. Alta Ski Area also has a Nordic Track for cross-country skiers, which is open daily. Snowboarding is not allowed at the resort to preserve the integrity of the ski trails.
