1. Jerry Rice – Wide Receiver
Jerry Rice is one of the best wide receivers to ever play in the NFL. He played the majority of his career for the San Francisco 49ers, from 1985 until 2000. He went on to play pro football for another five seasons, but recorded most of his record-breaking stats during his time in San Francisco. He won three Super Bowls while he was a 49er, and played in 13 Pro Bowl games. His awards include the 1985 UPI NFL-NFC Rookie of the Year, 1993 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, 1987 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, 1988 UPI NFC Player of the Year, Super Bowl XXIII MVP, and 1996 Pro Bowl MVP.

2. Joe Montana – Quarterback
Joe Montana began his unforgettable career when he was drafted in the third round of the 1979 NFL draft. San Francisco was the team who chose Montana, and it was with this team that the quarterback remained until 1992. He was a start quarterback for the 49ers and is known as one of the best quarterbacks ever to play the game of football. During his long career, Montana was an eight-time Pro Bowler, a three-time First Team All-Pro selection, a three-time Second Team All-Pro selection, a four-time Super Bowl champion, three-time Super Bowl MVP and two-time NFL MVP. Joe Montana was also named NFL Offensive Player of the year in 1989, Comeback Player of the Year in 1986 and NFC Player of the year in 1981. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000, and his number, 16, was retired from the team.

3. Ronnie Lott – Cornerback
Ronnie Lott was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1981, beginning his professional NFL career. He remained with the team until 1990. In his first year with the 49ers, Lott was a starting cornerback who managed seven interceptions on the season. It was also this year that the San Francisco 49ers won the Super Bowl. He went on to win three more Super Bowl victories with the team before eventually becoming a Los Angeles Raider in 1991. Lott was a ten-time Pro Bowler, and eight-time First Team All-Pro player and a four-time Super Bowl champion. He has been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and his number, 42, has been retired by the San Francisco 49ers.

4. Terrell Owens – Wide Receiver
Although Terrell Owens now plays for the Cincinnati Bengals, it was in 1996 that his professional career started with the San Francisco 49ers. He spent eight seasons with the team. Thus far in his career, Owens has been a five-time All-Pro selection and a six-time Pro Bowler. Some of his most impressive records still stand. Terrell is the only player in the history of the game that has scored a touchdown against all teams in the NFL during his career.

5. Steve Young – Quarterback
Steve Young began his professional football career with the Los Angeles Express. After a brief two seasons with the team, he became a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. Again, after two seasons, Young left to play for the San Francisco 49ers. It was here that his career as a quarterback broke out and he remained with the team from 1987 until 1999. He was a seven-time Pro Bowler, a three-time First Team All-Pro selection, a three-time Second Team All-Pro selection, a three-time Super Bowl Champion and a Super Bowl MVP.

Tents or canopies exceeding an 8’x8’ footprint and vehicles measuring more than 17’ in length and or 8’ in width are not permitted. Amplified music or sound is not permitted in the 49ers Parking Lots. Non-compliance may result in citation and/or immediate ejection. Additionally, vehicles failing to park in the designated areas (defined by painted lines) will be towed and stored at the owner’s expense. For information regarding towed vehicles, please contact the 49ers Stadium Operations Office at (415) 656-4949.
