What are Invertebrates
An invertebrate is an animal without a backbone. The group includes 95% of all animal species except those in the chordate subphylum Vertebrata which include fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Many invertebrates have a fluid-filled, hydrostatic skeleton, like the jelly fish or worm. Others have a hard outer shell, like insects and crustaceans. The rest are vertibrates. There are many types of invertebrates.

I just moved to Michigan from South Carolina. This is my first winter here and so far it's freezing. I enjoy traveling, drawing, camping, writing, and doing community service in my spare time. I work for a education company and help them with their outreach to teachers and students. Hope everyone enjoys my articles.
